Caitlin’s room is almost complete and I {LOVE} the way it turned out! Michael did an amazing job painting the room and putting everything together. He was also {SUPER} supportive of me and my obsessing over finding the perfect furniture, bedding, accessories, etc. Thank you honey!
I’m still looking for a few decor pieces that have anything to do with birds (bird nest, eggs, birds, etc.), so please let me know if you see anything out there. I’ve been searching high and low and haven’t had much luck. I found a cute bird cage and spray painted it a fun blue to tie in with the art work. It was also fun to incorporate a color that wasn’t pink, brown or white.
Check out the “before” and “after” pictures below!
{BEFORE}
You get the idea…it was a blank canvas.
{AFTER}
View as you walk into the room
Book shelves and the reading corner
(I still need some decor on the shelves…ideas are welcomed)
Picture frames and her piggy bank
Pink stripes on the bottom half of the wall all the way around the room
Picture frame (with the picture that came with the frame)
Our next project is the bathroom. I originally put pink on the walls…big mistake. Michael isn’t to happy about repainting. Sorry honey! All good designers make mistakes once in a while.
